Having A Smart Phone That Is Always There For You

You are studying math, you see a question you don’t recognize, you need a calculator. Solution: there is one on your phone. You need a fact that you don’t know. Solution: you have internet on your phone. You’re bored to death. Solution: you have games on your phone. There are thousands of games that are entertaining, addictive and free, there are also apps that can benefit you such as a dictionary, translator, a unit converter and thousands more. Doing these things on a small gadget that is right beside you is way better (for most people) than looking for a calculator, sitting and doing nothing for a long time and waiting for the computer to load and turn on.
Almost every day I use my phone in a way that will benefit and make things easier me or just to cure my boredom. The app store is the biggest source of awesomeness. It provides all the apps you would ever need such as games, dictionaries, social apps and apps that look cool but don’t do anything. Because of smart phones that have almost no limit these days, I have a portable dictionary, thesaurus, unit converter, games and the ability to call and text.
One device holds everything from a game boy to a book. It is like a device of awesomeness. It should be called IAwesome or Awesomeberry. Why couldn’t everything be this…

The Feeling You Get When You Accomplish Something You Thought You Couldn't

There is a bizarre, extraordinary, unique and awesome feeling. For example, you get it after scoring from half-court three times in the same day or get passed the whole opposing team and score an amazing goal. In other words, you get this feeling when you accomplish something you thought you couldn’t. Trust me, this feeling is magnificent and everyone in the world should get the opportunity to experience it.
In the summer that would make me grade 5 when it ended, I went to a camp, an astonishing camp that gave lots of free time. To me and most of my friends, the only reason we enjoyed it was because it was well-scheduled and it contained a huge gym. I said to my best friend,” Watch me score from half-court” sarcastically. I shot it, to my biggest surprise it hit the backboard dead-smack in the middle of the white square and then in the hoop. I minimizingly hoped for it to go in and it did. I looked at my friend, his mouth was wide open, you could literally fit an elephant in it.
This feeling can’t be replaced by any other feeling, it is unreplacable and secure. It creates so much self-confidence in you that it can’t be explained by numbers, maybe infinity. This feeling is…

Winning A Raffle

Picture this, there is a raffle for an IPhone 4S or a cannon camera or any latest device there is in the market that you exceedingly want but has an unnecessary price. You purchased ten tickets and you see everyone else around you buying three. As he (host/announcer) congratulates everyone for coming and he approaches to pick the winner, your heart is beating really fast, the only thing that you can hear (because you are focused so persistently on) is the announcer and you’re screaming in your mind with so much agitation and excitement,” say the winner already”! And just that moment he announces your ticket number. You literally get a heart attack.
One time I won a huge jar of red and white jelly beans in a raffle. I was in SK and it was Valentine’s Day so I was wearing red and white so I was entered into the draw. Jelly beans don’t seem like much, but for a child in SK, you have to admit that winning even jelly beans was super cool. They kept a smile on my face for about half a month and a chance to show off.
All the adrenaline and suspense built up in your body and mind is incredibly massive and the relief and proudness of yourself that you get when he calls your ticket number overcomes all of that. Winning a raffle is awesome for your self-esteem and is overall…

The Day Before Your Birthday

On this day, you tell the same fact to everyone at least three times. Every time they tell you,” You already told me” your reply is,” Sorry, I’m just so excited”. You’ve enjoyed this moment 364 days ago, you remember all the adrenaline that was built up in you and you feel it coming again. For some people, the day before your birthday is sometimes a bigger day of excitement than their actual birthday. It’s the only day you can’t wait to fall asleep. A new number to say when someone asks,” how old are you”.

Just like everyone, my birthday comes annually and so does the day before my birthday. That day is so amazing, June 29, school just finishes and I’m carrying this day on my shoulders until it ends. You can do so much on that day: play, think about possible presents you might receive, think about the entire day tomorrow and you can not get asked to do anything and many more simple things that become much simpler on this day which comes once in 365 days, so use it to the limit.

The day before your birthday is undescribable. It makes you sleep at 9 pm than your usual 10 pm, it makes you picture the full day tomorrow and makes you wonder what surprise your friends and family will setup for you once you reach the last step of your staircase. This day is truly…

Having Unlimited Electricity

Imagine if you could flip a switch, that broke no sweat, and there was light or just plug your phone or DS and it would recharge automatically. Or have the T.V. continuously working because it was plugged into an outlet on the wall. Wait! You shouldn’t be imagining this awesomeness because it already happens every minute of every day.  What luxury! Having electricity every day at anytime to satisfy our daily needs (or daily wants) is just unexplainable, what would we do without it?
Like every day, I came home and that day I was like the biggest electricity user there was, well I felt like that. I had the lights in the kitchen and living room on, the television was on, my phone was charging and there was food in the microwave being heated. I thought to myself,” Snap! What would I do without electricity? My phone wouldn’t be able to work in case I needed it, as I always do, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my favourite show while relaxing on my couch eating warm, scrumptious leftovers.
Having this magnificent feature in our lives supports us to receive needs like food or just our frequent wants. It replenishes our phones’ battery, and the heat of the leftovers from last night. Electricity brings people together or recounts a beautiful time with your close ones, we use it more everyday than the last but the problem is that people don’t realize the perfect adjective for electricity...
